In November 2005, the UK based organization CHERISH (www.cherishonline.co.uk) promoted these special Peace II bears. This promotion was to raise funds to send Matthew Owens on a World Challenge trip.
The bears came with a clipboard and 'pencil' to list his fundraising ideas,
a high quality rugby shirt printed with the CHALLENGE logo (designed by Matthew),
a WORLD CHALLENGE HONDURAS 2007 pin badge
(also designed by Matthew),
a globe stress ball
(for Peace to relax with after a hard day's fundraising) and a postcard with details of the World Challenge project
(also designed by Matthew). It also came with a numbered tag.
Only fifty of these bears were issued. |
