During his life, Peace under-went many tag changes.  Both the Hang and Tush tags' details varied over the years.  Below is a description of the different tags that Peace wore at one point or another:

TAG GENERATIONS

The most general change in Peace's tags were the different generations.  Peace was produced with 4th and 5th Hang tags and 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Tush tags.  (For pictures and more detailed info on all Beanie Baby's tag generations, go to aboutBeanies.com)

LOCATIONS

On the inside left of Peace's Hang tag, there is a list of three addresses of Ty's headquarters in that country.   1st Location: Ty Inc. The first location will always be Ty Inc.   2nd Location: Ty Europe The second address will always be the Ty Europe location, but will vary.  The address can either say "Fareham, Hants" or "Gosport"/"Gasport." The Fareham, Hants location seems to the the rarer of the two.  It may or may not have "U.K." on the last line.

Many people wonder about what's up with Gosport and Gasport.  Some tags have the Hampshire location spelled "Gasport."  "Gasport" is incorrect.  The correct version is "Gosport."  There are about the same amount of Gosports and Gasports out there, making neither one of them more rare.

3rd Location The third address listed on the tag can be two locations; Ty Canada or Ty Deutschland. The Deutschland version is much more rare than Canada, and will only be found on Peaces with 4th generation hangtags.

BACK OF THE HANG TAGS

A very rare thing to find on the back of the Hang tag on Peace is "CE" printed to the left of the bar code.  The bears that have this feature were most likely being prepared to be sold inside of Europe, as all manufacturers who want to sell their products in Europe put this mark to their product somewhere.  "CE" stands for the French phrase "Conformite Europeene."  This basically means that the manufacturer has confirmed that the product has all the obligations that are required by the legislation.  This abbreviation can be found pre-printed on the backs of Beanie's tags, or on a sticker placed on the back of the tags later.

TAG ERRORS

Peace's Hang tag went through two miss-pellings.  These errors were made on many Beanie Babies in addition to Peace.  One error is the mis-spelling of "Original" in the star on the front of the Hang tag.  It was spelled with an extra i, "Origiinal."

Another error appeared on the back of the Hang tag.  Where it usually said "Surface Wash," it said "Suface Wash."  The missing r must have been lost in the wash (Ha Ha). On some occasions the mistake was covered up with a correct sticker.  (I only got a sticker on my tests when I spelled all my words right.  Ha Ha, again...)

TUSH TAG GENERATIONS

The earliest tush tag that Peace has is 3rd generation.  3rd generation tags are easy to spot because they do not have a star next the Ty Heart logo.  Peace was also made with a 4th, 5th and 6th tush tag.  The biggest variation on Peace's tush tag is how "Ty Inc." is written.  Sometimes it was written in all caps (TY INC.) and other times in mixed cases (Ty Inc.).  Generally tags with all caps are more rare.  The all caps versions appeared first, and in Autumn of 1998, Ty switched to mixed cases.

Like all Beanies, Peace bears sold in Canada also came with an extra Tush tag.
