| On August 31, 1999, a new-- or rather TWO new-- additions to the Peace collection was-- or were-- introduced: Peace the Beanie Buddy. Like the Beanie Baby, these Peaces came in different colors styles, in this case pastel and neon (seen respectively in the picture to the right.) Introduced along with Peace the Buddy was Amber, Britannia, Fetch, Gobbles, Halo, Maple, Pumkin, Silver, Slither, Snowboy, Spangle and Spinner (No "official introduction" page on the Ty site is available). On April 30, 2000, Peace the Buddy was given to the first 12,000 children who attended that day's game at Wrigley Field. September 7, 2000 was the day the this Buddy was retired. *** In addition to these two Buddies (I say "two" because of the different color styles), there is also a Large, X-Large and Jumbo Peace Buddy.
