| Indonesian Peace bears are very hard to find, and generally will go for more money on auction sites such as Ebay.com. Indonesian Peace bears are very rare because the production in Indonesia was very poor. Quickly after starting to make Beanies in Indonesia, Ty pulled the plug. The bears were often mistaken for counterfeits because of the low-quality stitching and because the look and feel of one differed from a Peace made in China. However, Indonesian Peaces usually have very bright colors, which makes up for their lack of quality in the way they were made. Also, unlike most other Peace bears, Indonesians don't have a number stamped inside their tush tag. |
