Garcia is a very sought-after bear!  He was prematurely retired due to legal problems with Jerry Garcia, the leader of the Grateful Dead.  His name and birthday both seem to reflect Jerry.  Even his poem seemed to hint at something:
The Beanies used to follow him around
Because Garcia traveled from town to town
He's pretty popular as you can see
Some even say he's legendary!
Garcia is basically the same as Peace, except for the missing peace sign on his chest!
Soon after his retirement, Peace took his place!  Now both of Ty's tyedyed bears are some of the biggest hits with Beanie collectors everywhere!
