| The UK based organization Cherish (www.cherishonline.co.uk) issued 50 Making Strides Peace Bears to raise funds for Cancer Awareness. The Making Strides event was a series of walks for the whole family, ranging from 10 km hikes to 3.5 km strolls. The bear came with a special red and gold hang tag, numbered T-shirt and medal tied around his neck with a rainbow ribbon. The medal has a picture of Peace, and says "CHERISH; Making Strides 2004." The bears were also accompanied by a commemorative card. |
